Delhi Police have arrested Anuj Choudhari, an associate of the Randeep Bhati gang, who was wanted in a murder case and had been absconding for nearly three years. He was apprehended in Ghazipur with illegal weapons and a stolen scooter.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police has dismantled two inter-state illegal arms supply syndicates, arresting six traffickers and recovering 26 semi-automatic pistols, eight live cartridges, and three vehicles. The network sourced weapons from Madhya Pradesh and supplied them to criminal gangs in Delhi-NCR, including the Manjeet Mahal, Gogi, and Randeep Bhati gangs.
A criminal carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 died following an encounter with police in Agra. The deceased, identified as Pawan alias Kallu, had a long criminal history including murder and extortion.
